Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul boxing match was one of the most hyped and viewed fight of this era. Although there was no sense for this fight to happen. Hence the question that arises is...

Why did this happen? 

   Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr.  is an outstanding boxer with a professional record of 50-0. He is a true boxing prodigy , during the early years of his career he was nicknamed "Pretty Boy" because of his exceptional defensive style. Soon after that he was nicknamed "Money" only due to one reason...his enormous wealth ,that he amassed by boxing and promoting. He is a billionaire.
    On the other hand is a wanna be boxer Logan "Marverick" Paul, with a record of 0-1 (was defeated by KSI )


Logan Paul is an American Youtuber. There was no reason for this bout to happen,  no one not even non-boxing fans could find any sense in it. Yet this fight between the current best boxer and not even a real fighter was viewed worldwide. 
Floyd was in this just for the money
It was expected that Floyd would play around with Logan for a few rounds of this exhibition match and then knock his teeth out, leading to Logan lying on the floor, gazing the lights.
But on the contrary something else happened, something that lead to great criticism.

What happened?

Nobody has defeated Floyd Mayweather yet, same thing was expected in this fight, but Logan suprisingly went eight round of 3 minutes with the champion. WHAT THE HELL!!!
 It was as if they were having a public sparring session.There was nothing interesting that happened, both of them were not fighting but just throwing random punches and hugging each other .

Well, there was one incident that led to a sense of disgust amongst the masses. Floyd Mayweather accidentally knocked out Logan but carried him to continue the eight rounds, revealing that this event was a scripted one.

Aftermath

Seems as if this was only organized to get the money out of people's pocket into Floyd's and Logan's pocket. Although post fight Mayweather accepted that he did not fight seriously and was just in it for the money.



 Smart ones were those who didn't PAY to watch this fight. Logan went home with $20 million whereas Floyd Mayweather added more than a $100 million to his net worth. Pretty good for them , but at the same time they should've considered the fact that boxing is a reputed sport , and true fans watch boxing with feelings. We have witnessed Legends like Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali , George Foreman, Joe Frazier , Sugar Ray Leonard and Iron Mike Tyson, and this boxing hoax somewhat damaged the sanctity of not just boxing , but all fighting sports. 

They should've not done this imo.
