Common Habits of Successful People

B21_ COMMON HABITS OF SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

Do you have what it takes? Reading about successful people here I have listed some of the common habits that almost everyone of them has . These habits can be easily developed.
The last habit is the most common , everyone that you can think of while thinking about success has that habit.

1. Wake up early

I know that you might have heard it a several times that waking up early is good. Your parents must have urged you to wake up early in the morning and you always thought that what's the point? There is no harm in sleeping a little bit more. I don't care if you are a morning person or a night owl , but waking up early is in itself just "magical". That is the reason why most of the Rich and famous wake up early.

• Dwayne "THE ROCK" Johnson wakes up and works out at 4am everyday without fail.

•Tim Cook ,CEO of the multi-trillion dollar Company_Apple , goes to bed early and wakes up at 3am in the morning ( well, 3am is not morning )

• Elon Musk, is probably the most busiest person on the planet ,still takes 6 hours of sleep (health is important) and wakes up at 6am in the morning.

Infact, almost all of the successful people wake up early . On an average anywhere between 4am to 7am.
What's the point of waking up early,  if I can work at night ? I myself often woke up late (9-10) , but when I read about the waking time of most of these fortunate people, I myself started waking up early (5:45 am) , and belive me I really meant it when I said that waking up early is "magical".

The first 2-3 days were very hard . I found it difficult to get out of the cozy bed ,and often woke up dizzy. But as this habit developed, I found out that waking up early made me more energetic and productive for the day ahead.

In the morning when no one is awake we have no hurry and have the time to spend with ourselves , often termed as "me-time". "Me time" is very important not only because idols like Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein used this , but because it boosts self confidence.

Waking up early can be followed by activities like workout, meditation,Cold showers or something that Tony Robbins($ 600M) promotes_PRIMING.

2. Doing the right thing at the right time

Just imagine what would have happened if Bill Gates didn't dropout. The story behind Microsoft is that Bill Gates and his friend Paul Allen dropped out of Harvard to start Microsoft. But Why didn't they wait till their graduation ?
That's because "Doing the right thing at the right time" is a tendency of the elites.
Actually what happened was that in 1975 Bill Gates read an article in the magazine POPULAR ELECTRONICS about Kit Computers.

He saw this as an opportunity to make a name in the newly emerging IT industry. This was the start of Microsoft.  Bill and Paul then discussed that if they didn't dropout to start Microsoft rightaway , then it might be too late and the personal computing industry would have flourished without them. Then Bill Gates persuaded Paul Allen to dropout of Business School and then they started Microsoft. Just imagine what would have happened if Bill Gates didn't take the right desicion at the right time. Microsoft would not exist, and our lives would have been a lot different than the lives as we know it.

There is another example of Mark Zuckerberg, who started Facebook in 2004 , before the Winkelvosses could.

So whatever there is in your head , START NOW , before it's too late.

3. Valuing Time

The 7X Mr. Olympia Champion, The Terminator ,38th Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the perfect example of a person who values time.
During his early days in America he worked really really hard. He slept for 6 hours, woke up at 6 am , went to college , after that he and his friend Franco Columbu worked as part-time worker at a construction company, so as to earn money to get things going. After that they spent 5-6 hours working out at Gold's Gym. From 9pm to 12am Arnold took his acting classes. It was his sheer will power and hardwork that put him in this place today. He completely deserves all the success that he has got.
Not only Arnold , but all the successful people know the value of time.

4. Work Ethic

Wondering why I put EMINEM's Photo under the subheading Work Ethic ? That's because he deserves it. Work Ethic means to dedicate oneself towards one's work,  and who better than Marshall Mathers has done this.
You can wake up early , take good decisions , but without being completely dedicated to your work, you can't find the success that you are looking for. You need to LOSE YOURSELF in your work.
When someone says _UFC, the first image that comes into mind is of Connor Mcgregor.
That's because he has worked his way to the top, and now is the face of UFC. There is no other way than superhardwork to reach to the top

5. PPs: Passion & Patience

Felix Kjellberg a.k.a. Pewdiepie is the biggest individual creator on youtube in the whole world, with 109 million+ subscribers. His net worth is estimated to be around $ 45 million, but what made this guy from Sweden so successful in a field which is not even considered as a stable job? It was his PP.

Yes, youtube was his passion. The society wanted him to go to college, which he did , but soon realised that making videos on youtube was the thing that excited him, he found his true passion. Imagine what would have happened if he didn't have any patience and quit youtube early ? We would not be able to see the great content that he uploads daily. He's truly dedicated towards his work, and guess what makes it easier for him? The fact that he's following his passion.

Now I'm not saying that you should not go to college and start Youtube as a career, the point that I'm trying to make is that, it becomes a lot easier for one to find success if one enjoys what he's doing.

6. Managing people

Where do most of the billionaires come from ? They are usually businessmen, tech entrepreneurs,CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.... now that demand a lot of qualities,  but the most prominent quality is of managing people.

The greatest managers are not MBAs but the people who manage themselves properly are the best choice if you want them to lead a team of hundreds.

And most the people that we have talked about in this blog are great , when it comes to managing people.

7. Reading

The best thing that a man can do to himself is to develop a habit of reading. Reading is the input, if you want money and fame as the output.
• The Oracle of Omaha Warren Buffet read around 600 pages of material daily, during his early days in investing . That's what gave him a sense of wisdom and vision to dominate the market. (He says that reading a book can change one's life, as reading the Intelligent Investor changed his)

• Bill Gates reads 50 books a year , besides Reading other materials like ,newspapers , research and magazines. (Reading an article in the magazine made him start his own company)

• Pewdiepie once read 72(1) books in an year.

• Elon Musk taught himself rocket science just by reading

All the success tycoons have this habit of reading .

There's  a beautiful quote " The chains of habit are too light light to be felt , until they are too heavy too be broken"  , what's the harm in developing good habits that improves oneself.

Billionaires and Their Favourite Foods

Photo Courtesy: Author  B20_ Billionaires and their favourite foods        Recently, I had a strange dream which seemed very real. In my dream I was seated besides Steve Jobs,  Elon Musk,  Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, and all of us were having dinner. Salt Bae and Gordon Ramsay served us the delicious food and we enjoyed the meal. When I woke up it seemed that I was inside a dream,  just like Leonardo Dicaprio was in Inception.     Therefore, I thought that it would be a nice idea to read and write about the favourite foods of some billionaires.     Just wait to know Jeff Bezos' and Steve Jobs' most relished dish. 1. Bill Gates       Bill Gates just loves eating burgers 🍔 , no matter what's inside it. As long it is a burger it's the favourite food of the former Microsoft CEO & Co Founder Bill Gates. He loves to devour cheeseburgers , veg burgers , hamburgers and now he is promoting burgers in which patties are made out of false meat
