WHY DO WE AGE ?

Most people think that ageing is  something which is out of this world and beyond understanding. 

On the contrary ageing is just a biochemical phenomenon which I have explained in this blog . After reading this blog  you will be able to understand ageing and get the answer of the question " Why do we age ? "

Almost everything that you see around rusts or gets corroded or  simply ages.
Almost everything is made out of Carbon

Atmospheric changes ( like moisture) overtime result in change of chemical composition of non living things.
Hence we can say that they age with time. But what about living things ?
Like plants and animals and us humans ?

Human Ageing 🧓🏼

Plants and animals are made up of  Deoxiribose nucleic acid  DNA .

Theoretically, there are two reasons of why we age ....

1. DNA OXIDATION 
   

2. DNA METHYLATION


Either of these two processes happen inside the cells

We are made up of cells . Basically we are nothing but a  cluster of cells arranged in a particular manner .
Inside these cells any of the above mentioned process happens , the cell undergoes deterioration and the cell ultimately dies. The cell structure gets damaged . The accumulation of damaged cells on a macro level is what we perceive as ageing 😉.
We age because we are cell cluster and the internal cell processes are inevitable .

Although we can't control time and cannot stop ageing . But there are a few natural and healthy ways in which we can slow down this process .
I'll also tell you about anti-ageing later when I edit this blog .
